MTS Types
Standard MTS Connector:
Works with 10 AWG, 12 AWG, and 14 AWG wires.
Self-Stripping MTS Connector:
Works with 12 AWG, and 14 AWG wires. Doesn’t require wire stripping.
Pipe Burst MTS Connector:
Works with 8 AWG, 10 AWG, 12 AWG, and 14 AWG Solid Copper. Works with 6 AWG, 8 AWG, 10 AWG, 12 AWG, and 14 AWG Stranded Copper. Works with 10 AWG, 12 AWG, and 14 AWG CCS.
Installation
Standard Installation:
Strip 3/8″ of the jacket from both the main line where they will be making contact with the connector. Strip the same amount from the end of the service wire you will be placing in the connector. Tighten the screw until you feel contact and then give it an additional quarter of a turn. Remove the cover to the gel and close the connector.
